Nagano Prefecture business sentiment declines for first time in five periods
The Nagano Economic Research Institute released survey results for the July–September 2026 period, revealing that business sentiment across all industries in Nagano Prefecture has declined for the first time in five periods. The business conditions DI (Diffusion Index) for all industries stood at plus 2.3, a decrease of 0.4 points compared to the previous period.
In contrast, the manufacturing sector showed continued strength, marking its sixth consecutive period of improvement.
