Nagarjuna Akkineni celebrates birthday and career milestones

South Indian actor and businessman Nagarjuna Akkineni is celebrating his birthday on August 29. Born in Madras in 1959, he is the son of the renowned actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and began his career as a child artist.

He rose to prominence as a lead actor with the 1986 Telugu film Vikram. His personal life has also been a subject of significant media attention. Following a marriage to Lakshmi Daggubati that ended in divorce in 1990, he married actress Amala Akkineni in 1992. They have two sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni, who are also established figures in South Indian cinema.
