Nagarjuna Akkineni announces 100th film ‘King100’

Veteran Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has announced his 100th film, titled ‘King100’. Produced by Annapurna Studios and directed by Ra Karthik, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.

To mark his 67th birthday, the production team released a title glimpse and teaser. The footage introduces a stylish, larger-than-life character and hints at a rags-to-riches narrative involving wealth, power, and identity. The plot appears to touch on themes of social status and may include elements of crime, as the teaser references a massive 50,000 crore scam.

The project features a significant on-screen reunion with actress Tabu, who last worked with Nagarjuna nearly three decades ago. The film’s musical score is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The December release date sets up a major box-office competition with Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, also titled ‘King’.
