Nagisa Inoue to star in Fuji TV horror special

Nagisa Inoue, a member of the idol group Nogizaka46, will make her first appearance and lead the starring role in the upcoming special broadcast of ‘Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi: Autumn Special 2026’. The program, scheduled to air on Fuji TV on October 31, is a long-running horror anthology series based on real-life paranormal experiences.

Inoue will star in a brand-new episode titled ‘Neighbor’ (Rinjin), portraying Rina Tayama, a university student who experiences unsettling events after moving into a new apartment. The plot follows Rina as she encounters mysterious stares from a neighboring room and inexplicable occurrences that eventually reveal a terrifying truth about her living situation.

Inoue, who has recently expanded her career into modeling, NHK Taiga dramas, and stage productions, expressed her excitement and nervousness regarding the role, noting that the script itself was frightening to read.
