Nagoya Asian Games: Taiwan Kayakers reach quarterfinals; Li Sze-wing wins bronze

At the Nagoya Asian Games, four Taiwanese athletes successfully advanced to the quarterfinals in the men's and women's Kayak Cross time trials. Chang Chu-han secured 3rd place in the women's division with a time of 78.38 seconds, while Wu Ting-yi placed 5th. In the men's division, Liao Li-hung finished 7th with 76.37 seconds, and Wu Jung-cheng took 10th place.

In track cycling, Hong Kong's Li Sze-wing earned a bronze medal in the women's omnium event. Despite leading after the first two stages, a performance dip in the final points race allowed competitors from Japan and Kazakhstan to overtake her. Li expressed disappointment following the race, noting that tactical errors and missed opportunities during the final stage prevented her from securing a higher podium finish. This brings her total medal count for the games to one silver and one bronze.
