Nagoya Grampus defeat Gamba Osaka 3-1 for first J1 victory

Nagoya Grampus secured their first victory of the season with a 3-1 win against Gamba Osaka in the third round of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League.

Yudai Kimura opened the scoring for Nagoya in the 7th minute. Gamba Osaka responded quickly in the 11th minute when Ryotaro Keno scored a volley to equalize. The match remained tied until the 83rd minute, when Yuya Asano scored from a corner kick scramble to put Nagoya ahead.

In the 87th minute, Gamba Osaka's Shuto Abe received a red card after pushing Matheus Castro during an argument. Capitalizing on the numerical advantage, Nagoya's Masashi Ono scored a final goal in stoppage time to seal the victory. This result marks Nagoya's first win after two consecutive losses, while Gamba Osaka suffered their first defeat of the season.
