Nagoya Oceans win eighth consecutive F League Cup title

The F League Cup 2026 was held at HAPPINESS ARENA in Nagasaki Prefecture from August 28 to 30. Nagoya Oceans secured their eighth consecutive title and 13th overall by defeating Shinagawa City with a score of 3-2 in the final.

Prior to the final match on August 30, a charity futsal match was organized to support recovery efforts for the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto earthquake. The event featured F League Chairman Daiichi Matsui, former Japan national team forward Seiichiro Maki, and former defender Yuhei Tokunaga, alongside players from Volcãolet Kitakyushu and Vasajy Oita.

Donations collected during the event will be provided in full to the NPO Your Action, led by Seiichiro Maki, to assist with Kumamoto earthquake reconstruction and youth development through sports. The tournament also collaborated with local sports entities to promote regional revitalization.
