Nagoya to host Meta Campus Summit 2026 with 2,400 students

The 21st Century Academy will host the ‘Meta Campus Summit Nagoya 2026’ on October 17 and 18, 2026. The event, set in the Sakae and Osu areas of Nagoya, involves approximately 2,400 students from four specialized academies participating in practical, community-based learning.

Key activities include a large-scale cleaning project involving 1,000 students, a ‘community help’ initiative where students apply their professional skills—such as photography and pet care—to assist locals, and a free ‘Academy Cafeteria’ providing meals to children and parents. The summit also features approximately 60 booths offering food and experiential activities, such as workshops and small business ventures designed by students. Former handball player and creator Remi Amy Doi is scheduled to appear for an awards ceremony recognizing student ideas for community improvement.
