Nagpur Metro extends service hours for Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din and Dussehra

Maha Metro Nagpur has announced extended operating hours for the Nagpur Metro on October 20, 2026, to accommodate the expected surge in commuters during Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din and Vijayadashami (Dussehra).

On this day, services will run from 5:00 AM until 12:00 midnight. The first and last trains will depart from all four terminals, including Khapri, Automotive Square, Prajapati Nagar, and Lokmanya Nagar, at these designated times.

The decision aims to assist the large number of devotees traveling to Deeksha Bhoomi and citizens attending Ravan Dahan festivities. The metro has a history of extending its routine deadlines during such major events to facilitate public movement.
