Naguanagua police arrest man for alleged sexual abuse of teenager with autism

A 19-year-old man has been arrested in the Naguanagua municipality of Carabobo state for the alleged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl with autism.

The investigation began after a relative of the victim filed a formal complaint. According to authorities, the suspect approached the teenager in a public park and used manipulation to gain her trust, eventually persuading her to go to his residence where the assault occurred.

The arrest was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIP) of the Naguanagua Municipal Police in coordination with the Council for the Protection of Children, Girls, and Adolescents (CPNNA). The case has been handed over to the 20th Prosecutor's Office of the Public Ministry of Carabobo for legal proceedings.
