Nagui faces declining TV ratings and legal disputes
French television host Nagui is facing both declining viewership for his program ‘N’oubliez pas les paroles’ and ongoing legal battles. On France 2, the musical game show has seen a significant drop in audience share, falling 3.4 points and losing 741,000 viewers compared to the previous year. The program is currently struggling to compete with rival networks like TF1 and M6, particularly among key commercial demographics.
Simultaneously, Nagui has initiated legal proceedings against media personality Cyril Hanouna and deputy Charles Alloncle. The complaints stem from long-standing tensions within the French audiovisual landscape. Nagui previously filed a complaint against Hanouna for ‘public insult’ following derogatory remarks made on TBT9. Additionally, a complaint was filed against Alloncle for ‘complicity in aggravated moral harassment’.
