Nagui steps down from France Inter show as TV broadcast faces technical glitch

French presenter Nagui experienced a technical problem during the live broadcast of "N'oubliez pas les paroles" on France 2, where the show’s maestro Clara was delayed while waiting for the instrumental to finish. The incident was described by the program’s voice‑over as a "small technical issue" that caused a longer pause, but Clara went on to secure her ninth and tenth victories.

Separately, Nagui announced he is leaving the radio programme "La bande originale" on France Inter after more than a decade on air. He said he feels it is the right time to stop while still at the top of his career. France Inter is now seeking a replacement, with former Canal+ presenter Maïtena Biraben reportedly being approached to succeed him. Nagui may still remain with the station in a different capacity, but his mid‑morning slot will be filled by a new host.
