Nahla Aubry defends Halle Berry against abuse allegations

Nahla Aubry, the 18-year-old daughter of actress Halle Berry, has issued a legal declaration in Los Angeles Superior Court defending her mother against child abuse allegations made by Olivier Martinez.

Martinez, Berry’s ex-husband, recently sought full custody of their 13-year-old son, Maceo, alleging that Berry physically abused the child during an incident on September 26. Specifically, Martinez accused Berry of choking the boy. Berry has denied these claims, stating she is a victim of domestic violence.

In her statement, Nahla asserted that she has lived with Berry her entire life and has never witnessed any violent or abusive behavior toward Maceo. She described Berry as a “loving and devoted parent” who is “warm, supportive, and deeply involved” in her children's lives. Nahla further stated she never saw her mother hit, slap, choke, or restrict Maceo’s breathing, noting that Berry always prioritized her children despite her career demands.
