Nahuel Huapi National Park announces guide renewals and conservation initiatives

Nahuel Huapi National Park has announced the opening of the 2027 guide credential renewal process. Starting October 1, 2026, guides with valid 2026 credentials can apply for renewal through the online Trámites a Distancia (TAD) platform. The deadline for submission is December 10, 2026. Authorities warn that failure to complete the process within this timeframe will result in removal from the system.

Separately, Nahuel Huapi National Park and the technology company INVAP have strengthened their partnership through initiatives focused on environmental education, science, and ecological restoration. During September, the collaboration included activities such as the ‘Puertas Abiertas’ program, which hosted secondary school students to promote interest in scientific and technological careers. These efforts aim to foster biodiversity awareness and connect regional productive activities with ecosystem conservation in Patagonia.
