In Alabama, college student Hannah Tampasis has developed a business called ‘Hannah’s Gelx’ from her apartment. A sports management major, Tampasis uses platforms like TikTok and Instagram to showcase complex, artistic designs that differ from standard salon offerings. Beyond revenue, she notes that the business has served as a significant tool for social connection and self-expression among her peers.
