Nail trends return to classic French styles and autumn jewel tones

Current nail trends are seeing a resurgence of classic styles alongside new seasonal aesthetics. The French manicure, famously worn by Princess Diana in the 1990s, is making a comeback in a modern 'micro-French' version. This updated look emphasizes subtlety, utilizing milky white or warm beige undertones with a very fine, sharp white line at the tip rather than thick, high-contrast edges.

As autumn approaches, nail stylists are also predicting a shift toward deeper, more luxurious tones and textures. Key trends for the upcoming season include jewel tones—specifically emerald green, burgundy, deep cherry red, and chocolate brown—which complement seasonal fabrics like cashmere and leather. Additionally, magnetic polishes that create velvet or 'cat-eye' effects are expected to gain popularity, as are 'BB cream nails' that offer a clean, healthy, and natural appearance using milky pink or soft nude shades.
