Nair Tiknizjan transfers from Red Star Belgrade to Olympiacos

Armenian left-back Nair Tiknizjan has completed a transfer from Red Star Belgrade to Olympiacos. The move is reportedly valued at five million euros.

Tiknizjan expressed enthusiasm regarding the move, describing Olympiacos as the best club in Greece and one of the stronger clubs in Europe. He noted that he is prepared for the high expectations of the fans and management, having grown accustomed to pressure during his time in Serbia. He also highlighted the close relationship between Red Star Belgrade and Olympiacos, referring to them as 'brother clubs.'

Since joining Red Star Belgrade from Lokomotiv Moscow last July, Tiknizjan has made 54 appearances for the Serbian champions. He stated his goals for the upcoming season include winning trophies and progressing as far as possible in the Europa League.
