Nairobi police investigate death of woman found with eight stab wounds

Detectives in Nairobi are investigating the death of 21-year-old Francisca Wanja Thuranira, who was found stabbed to death in a house in Umoja Two on Tuesday afternoon. Thuranira was discovered unresponsive on a bed at her aunt’s residence.

Police report that she had sustained eight stab wounds to her chest. Investigators suspect the motive may be related to a domestic dispute, and the victim’s boyfriend is currently being treated as the primary suspect. Authorities are working to locate the individual. The body has been moved to the Mama Lucy Kibaki Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.
