Najafi brothers executed for violent armed robbery crimes

Hamid and Said Najafi, key members of a violent professional armed robbery gang, have been executed following a judicial process and the confirmation of their death sentences by the Supreme Court.

The gang, which included Younes Najafi, operated for several years across multiple Iranian provinces, including Tehran, Alborz, Mazandaran, Qom, and Isfahan. Their criminal activities involved breaking into homes to steal valuables such as gold, jewelry, and cash.

The group was noted for its extreme violence, which included shooting at police officers and carrying out armed attacks on hospitals. They also used social media to display weapons and post threats against law enforcement to project an image of power and intimidation.
