Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten releases summer vegetable tsuyu

Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten offers a specialized line of summer vegetable tsuyu (sauce) designed for somen noodles. The product range includes two distinct flavors: corn and tomato.

The corn-flavored version combines corn with bonito dashi and sesame paste, providing a rich and mellow taste. It can be diluted with water or soy milk to create a quick corn soup. The tomato-flavored version features a tomato base mixed with kombu and shellfish dashi, accented with sudachi juice and white pepper for a refreshing, slightly spicy profile. This variety can also be used to make a minestrone-style soup.

While availability may vary by physical store, the products are noted for their ability to provide new flavor profiles for traditional summer noodles.
