Nakama Game Studio to launch inclusive video game Coloratura

Nakama Game Studio is set to release “Coloratura,” an inclusive narrative video game designed to be played with eyes closed using 3D audio technology. The game, which will be available on PlayStation starting October 29, allows both sighted and visually impaired players to enjoy the same experience through sound-based exploration and musical puzzles.

Developed by programmer Rafael Carneros, the project originated during a 48-hour game jam. The story follows Álex, a young musician who loses her sight in an accident and must rebuild her life through music. The gameplay relies on headphones to guide players through various stages by following auditory cues and solving musical challenges.

The presentation of the title will take place at the Museo Cristina García Rodero in Puertollano, Spain. Representatives from ONCE, the Spanish organization for the blind, are expected to attend the event.
