Nakhon Ratchasima teenager injured by stray dog chase

A 17-year-old girl was injured after being chased by a large pack of stray dogs while riding her motorcycle in the Mueang District of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on September 5 in the Nong Bua Sala Subdistrict.

In an attempt to escape the animals, the teenager lost control of her vehicle and crashed. She sustained injuries to her face, right eyebrow, shoulder, and leg, requiring approximately 40 stitches. Following an overnight hospital stay, her medical expenses totaled nearly 50,000 baht.

The victim's father has called for authorities to take action against the growing stray dog population. Local residents report that aggressive packs of dogs have been a persistent issue in the Nong Bua Sala and Hua Thale areas for years, frequently targeting motorcyclists and posing a significant safety risk at night.
