Nalagarh: Migrant worker found dead in bushes

The body of a 21-year-old migrant worker, identified as Rajeev, was recovered from bushes near Chonkiwala in the Nalagarh subdivision on Monday evening. Rajeev had been missing for approximately three days after leaving his home.

His family, who migrated from Uttar Pradesh to work as laborers, expressed suspicion that he may have been murdered and his body abandoned at the site. The discovery was made after a local resident reported a foul smell emanating from the area.

Police have taken the body into custody and initiated an investigation. While the suspected murder has not been officially confirmed, authorities stated that the exact cause of death will be determined following a post-mortem examination.
