Naledi Aphiwe loses entire YouTube music catalogue

South African singer and songwriter Naledi Aphiwe has lost her official YouTube Artist Channel and entire digital music catalogue following an unauthorized removal from the platform. The deletion occurred without notification and comes just weeks before the scheduled release of her upcoming EP.

The lost content included music videos, live performances, and audio visualizers that had accumulated over 120 million views. Despite nearly two weeks of intervention by the artist and her management team, Naledi Music Group confirmed that the original channel has not been restored.

Naledi Aphiwe, who gained international recognition after her vocals were sampled by American R&B star Chris Brown, plans to launch a new channel under her independent label. She has called on her fans, known as the ‘Starlites’, and the broader music community to support her as she rebuilds her digital presence.
