Namal Rajapaksa provides statement to FCID; UK healthcare interns graduate

In Sri Lanka, Namal Rajapaksa provided a six-hour statement to the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID).

In the United Kingdom, 22 graduates completed a 12-month internship programme organized by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The initiative, known as Project SEARCH/Supported Internships, is designed to help adults and education leavers with autism or learning disabilities secure employment. Participants gained practical experience in sectors including pharmacy, administration, catering, and ward assistance through placements with the NHS, Flintshire Council, and ClwydAlyn Housing Association. New internship opportunities are scheduled to begin at Wrexham Maelor Hospital in September 2026.
