Naman Dhir praised after India victory in New Zealand T20I

Naman Dhir has received significant praise from former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer following his performance in the first T20I against New Zealand at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. Dhir played a crucial role in India's four-wicket victory, scoring 42 runs off just 15 balls at a strike rate of 280 to help the team chase down a target of 226.

Jaffer highlighted Dhir's ability to provide balance to the squad as a power-hitter who can also contribute with bowling and fielding. While celebrating Dhir's impact, Jaffer also expressed support for Rinku Singh, suggesting that Singh remains a premier finisher who deserves a place in the national T20I squad.
