Name bankruptcy: 17.25 million euro distribution proceeds

The distribution of 17.25 million euros from the bankruptcy of Name is moving forward following the rejection of a request to recuse Judge Nikola Ribarić. The Zagreb Commercial Court ruled that creditors Plamen, RIO, and Krateks failed to provide concrete evidence of bias or irregularities regarding the bankruptcy administrator.

A new hearing is scheduled for September 22 to discuss the distribution of funds obtained from the sale of two properties in Ilica. Key creditors involved in the proceedings include Croatia osiguranje, which claims approximately 6.2 million euros, and the Republic of Croatia.

Legal disputes persist regarding interest payments. Creditors argue that certain interest claims against Croatia osiguranje have expired, while others contend that interest owed to the Republic of Croatia cannot be settled as a separate claim because it was not recorded in the land registry.
