Namibia Eagles defeat South Africa in T20 Tri-Series opener

Namibia’s FNB Eagles opened the FNB T20 Tri-Series with an 18-run victory over South Africa’s Proteas at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek. Jan Frylinck led the Eagles with a 60-run performance off 38 balls, while JJ Smit was named Player of the Match for his contributions to the win.

Following the opening matches, South Africa secured their first win of the series by defeating Zimbabwe by seven wickets. Namibia is scheduled to face Zimbabwe next in the competition, while Zimbabwe and South Africa will also meet to continue the tri-series.
