Namibia launches investor tax guide and prepares for Belgian trade mission
Namibia is advancing efforts to attract and support investment through new regulatory resources and international trade engagements. The Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), in collaboration with PwC Namibia, has launched the ‘Namibia Investment Guide: Tax Laws in Namibia (Volume 5)’. This guide is designed to provide local and international investors with clarity on the national tax framework, business setup rules, and foreign currency regulations to enhance transparency and competitiveness.
In a separate initiative to foster commercial partnerships, the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) and the NIPDB are organizing business-to-business matchmaking meetings with a visiting delegation from Wallonia, Belgium. Facilitated by the Wallonia Export and Investment Agency (AWEX), the mission aims to facilitate technology transfers and investment linkages across various sectors, including mining, renewable energy, healthcare, and agriculture. The meetings are scheduled to take place in Windhoek on 1 October 2026.
