Namibia tourism board to host sustainable luxury travel event

The Namibia Tourism Board will host Luxury Travel Namibia in Swakopmund from December 8 to 10, 2026. The event aims to explore the country’s position within the sustainable luxury tourism sector under the theme “Where space and time define the experience.”

The gathering will bring together Namibian tourism suppliers, international buyers, and industry stakeholders. Key programming includes a masterclass led by My China Link founders Sarah and Marco Bouwer focused on attracting high-end Chinese travelers.

Discussions are also scheduled to address practical travel logistics, including immigration, visa arrangements, and air connectivity. The event will feature a Networking Café with 20 business-to-business setups to facilitate connections between luxury tourism brands and international buyers.
