Nampula women's volleyball sees mixed results at School Sports Games

During the 2026 School Sports Games in Mozambique, the Nampula women's volleyball team experienced mixed results. In one match, Nampula suffered a 3-0 defeat against Inhambane. Interim coach Carmuto Paulo attributed the loss to a lack of unity and nerves, noting that the home-court advantage for Inhambane also influenced the outcome.

However, Nampula secured a comeback victory in a separate match against Niassa, winning 3-2. Despite losing the first two sets, the team rallied to win the final three sets. Coach Carlito Paulo credited the victory to improved concentration, determination, and collective teamwork.
