Namur hosts open-air museum of monumental sculptures

The city of Namur has been transformed into an open-air museum through a temporary exhibition of monumental sculptures. Since the beginning of summer, large-scale artworks, some exceeding four meters in height, have been displayed in the city's most iconic squares to make art accessible to the general public.

Among the featured artists is Ghent-based sculptor Dirk de Keyser, who is presenting his work in Namur for the first time. De Keyser, a specialist in bronze since 1985, describes his style as a blend of various global cultures aimed at finding unity among people. The exhibition is scheduled to conclude on Monday, August 31.
