Namyangju advances Wangsuk Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex

The Wangsuk Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex has passed the deliberation of the Metropolitan Area Committee under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. This development is set to become a major industrial hub in the northeastern metropolitan area, with a total project cost of approximately 1.8334 trillion KRW.

Spanning roughly 1.2 million square meters, the complex will be approximately 1.7 times the size of the First Pangyo Techno Valley. The project aims for completion by 2032 and will focus on attracting future growth industries, including biotechnology, medical services, information and communication technology (ICT), artificial intelligence (AI), research and development (R&D), and knowledge-based services.

To enhance investment competitiveness, the city plans to offer tax benefits and provide industrial facility land at production cost levels. Namyangju City intends to form a working-level consultative body with LH and expert advisory groups to refine investment attraction strategies. The site will leverage improved accessibility via the GTX-B, Gyeongchun Line, and Line 9 to integrate industrial, residential, and cultural functions within the Wangsuk New Town.
