Nana Akufo-Addo presides over Bozoma Saint John’s wedding in Accra

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo acted as the father of the bride during the traditional wedding of marketing executive and ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Bozoma Saint John and entrepreneur Keely Watson. The ceremony took place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the former President’s residence in Nima, Accra.

Saint John and Watson wore custom Kente cloth designed by Goba Kente and Naana Adobea, paired with gold jewellery. The event was attended by approximately 1,000 guests, including 250 travelers from the United States and the United Kingdom. The guest list featured a mix of Ghanaian political figures, Afrobeats musicians, and Hollywood celebrities.

Notable attendees included former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, former Second Lady Samira Bawumia, and Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage. From the United States, several cast members of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ were present, alongside supermodel Ashley Graham. This Accra celebration is the first of two weddings; a second ceremony is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles on November 21, 2026.
