Port McNeill RCMP arrest three in drug trafficking investigation

The Port McNeill RCMP and the Island District General Investigation Section (GIS) have arrested three individuals following a drug trafficking investigation in the North Island region. Officers executed multiple search warrants on residents and vehicles, resulting in a significant disruption to suspected criminal activity.

Authorities seized more than $100,000 in cash, one kilogram of suspected cocaine, and significant quantities of suspected ketamine. Additional items confiscated include two rifles, a shotgun with ammunition, over 100 cartons of unstamped tobacco, multiple cellular devices, and two vehicles. The investigation is ongoing as charges are being assessed.
