Nancy Carter returns to EastEnders amid Linda Carter's family tensions

The BBC soap opera EastEnders has revealed details regarding the return of Nancy Carter to Walford. Nancy, who previously left the series in 2022, has returned to seek legal advice from her brother, Johnny Carter.

Her unexpected reappearance coincides with a period of personal upheaval for her mother, Linda Carter. Linda has been involved in a secret relationship with Max Branning, a connection that is discovered by her children. While Linda intends to be honest with her family about the romance, the situation is complicated by Max’s pending annulment from his wife, Cindy.

The reunion between mother and daughter is expected to be tense, following a history of strained relations. Additionally, the return of Nancy is part of a larger storyline involving the imminent return of her brother, Lee Carter, as the series approaches the exit plot for Linda Carter.
