In an interview with Fox News Digital, investigator Dr. Kris Mohandie expressed skepticism toward the notes, citing red flags such as the sender's decision to send them to news outlets and inconsistent use of pronouns. While the notes contained specific crime scene details, Mohandie suggested they might be inadvertent leaks rather than proof of the kidnapper's identity.
