Nancy Liliana Pérez killed in intentional vehicle attack in Apodaca, Mexico

On July 31, 2026, at about 20:30, a man driving a silver Jeep Patriot deliberately accelerated through the entrance gate of the Paseo del Nogal subdivision in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico, after a family argument. The vehicle struck a Honda City, running over 45‑year‑old Nancy Liliana Pérez Rodríguez and her son, Carlos Abraham Molina Pérez.

Pérez died shortly after being taken to Hospital 21 of the IMSS in Monterrey, while her son sustained serious injuries and remains hospitalized. Surveillance footage captured the incident. Police are searching for the driver, identified as the partner of Pérez’s daughter, and the investigation is ongoing.
