Nancy-Lorraine Opera carousel installs in Vienna

The Opéra national de Nancy-Lorraine has installed its “manège-opéra” (opera carousel) in Vienna for the month of September. Located at the Neue Staatsoper im Künstlerhaus, the installation is a co-production with the Wiener Staatsoper.

Designed for children aged 4 to 10, the 20-minute experience features acrobats, singers, and musicians performing works from the Offenbach repertoire. The carousel is designed for easy assembly and disassembly. Following its stay in Vienna, the production is scheduled to visit Dijon in December before returning to Nancy in April 2027.
