Nancy Wu launches independent music career with own company

Hong Kong actress Nancy Wu, a two-time TVB Best Actress winner, is transitioning into a music career after leaving her long-term agency of 23 years. To pursue her long-held dream of becoming a singer, Wu has established her own company.

Her husband, surgeon Akin Chan, is reportedly providing full financial backing for the venture. Chan, described as a high-earning specialist, has expressed strong support for Wu's talent and encouraged her to pursue her musical ambitions without financial concern.

Wu has already completed recording a new song and is preparing to film a music video, with plans to release the work during the summer. Following her recent 'Live CIRCLE' concert tour in mainland China, Wu has expressed her goal of competing for music newcomer awards.
