Nandamuri Balakrishna resumes filming for ‘Dada’ after injury recovery

Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has resumed filming for the action entertainer ‘Dada’ in Mysuru, Karnataka, following a brief hiatus for medical reasons. The actor had previously sustained a minor muscle tear during an intense action sequence in Kakinada, which required a routine surgical procedure. Production house Vriddhi Cinemas confirmed the injury and noted that the actor has since made a full recovery.

Director Gopichand Malineni has released a teaser video for the film, which features Balakrishna alongside Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal. The production is currently focusing on filming talkie portions. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
