Nandamuri Balakrishna to star in action film Dada

Nandamuri Balakrishna is set to star in a new Telugu action entertainer titled ‘Dada’, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film’s title and a promotional glimpse were recently unveiled, showcasing Balakrishna in a rugged, gangster-inspired role featuring leather jackets, sunglasses, and a commanding presence.

Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, the film features a cast including Kajal Aggarwal and Manchu Manoj, with music composed by S. Thaman. The production has positioned the movie as a high-voltage gangster drama aimed at a mass audience. ‘Dada’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026, timed for the Christmas holiday season.
