Nandan Nilekani-led task force consults K Radhakrishnan on exam reforms

The high-level task force on examination reforms, led by Nandan Nilekani, has consulted former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan regarding improvements to India’s testing systems. Radhakrishnan previously headed a committee established in June 2024 following the NEET-UG paper leak controversy, which submitted 101 recommendations in October 2024 concerning data security and the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The current task force, constituted in July 2026, is reviewing these previous recommendations as part of a broader effort to create a leakproof and transparent examination process. The panel is actively engaging with various stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, academic institutions, and industry organizations, to develop robust and future-ready reforms leveraging the latest technologies.
