Nandurbar police arrest man for alleged sexual abuse of minors

Maharashtra Police have arrested 22-year-old Chetan Prakash Koli in Nandurbar district for the alleged sexual abuse of minors and young men. The investigations indicate the suspect had been harassing and luring victims since 2022, reportedly using money and chocolates to entice minor boys.

Authorities recovered hundreds of obscene videos and photographs from the suspect's mobile phone. Police stated that Koli allegedly used these recordings to blackmail and threaten victims into silence. Superintendent of Police Ashwini Sanap confirmed that investigators are using the recovered media to identify more survivors and record their statements.

The suspect, who was reportedly employed at a government-approved liquor shop, has been remanded to police custody. Investigators are currently examining whether the accused acted alone or was part of a larger criminal network.
