NANGA and arata release lightweight multifunctional umbrellas

New lightweight, multifunctional umbrellas designed for both sun protection and rain are gaining attention for their portability and specialized outdoor specifications.

NANGA has released the Compact Umbrella, a sun and rain compatible folding umbrella weighing approximately 196g. It features a compact storage length of about 16cm, making it smaller than a standard 540ml plastic bottle. The product offers over 99.9% UV protection and heat shielding, utilizing DuPont Teflon coating for water repellency and durability.

Similarly, arata has developed the AU-08, a mountain-spec umbrella designed for durability in windy conditions. It is exceptionally lightweight, with the main body weighing only 142g. The umbrella features an 8-rib structure to withstand wind and provides UPF50+ UV protection, blending high-performance outdoor utility with urban design.
