Nani's The Paradise achieves record-breaking opening at box office

The Paradise, an action-drama directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani, has achieved a massive opening at the box office. The film, set in 1980s Secunderabad and centered on a marginalized tribe's struggle, earned approximately ₹34.65 crore net in India on its first day, with a worldwide gross exceeding ₹74 crore. This marks the largest opening of Nani's career.

Despite the strong financial start, the film has received polarized reviews. While some praise the intense performances and visual world, others have criticized the film's content. Nani addressed the mixed reception on social media, stating he has “equally enjoyed” both the love and the “hilarious trolls” and has learned from the flaws pointed out by critics.

On its second day, the film experienced a significant drop in domestic collections, earning roughly ₹14.90 crore net in India. However, its worldwide gross remains strong, nearing the ₹100 crore milestone. The ensemble cast includes Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, and Sonali Kulkarni.
