Nanjing Culture and Tourism Festival officially opens in China

The 2026 Nanjing Culture and Tourism Festival has officially commenced in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province, China. The opening ceremony and the announcement of the Nanjing City Image Theme Invitation results were jointly organized by the Nanjing local government, the China Media Group Jiangsu Station, and the China Media Group News and New Media Center.

Centered around the theme ‘Nice Nanjing’, the month-long festival is being held at the City Wall Central Square in the Mendong Street area. The event features a collaboration with the China Media Group Jiangsu Station, utilizing online live streaming, singing performances, interactive bullet comments, and AI projection shows on the ancient Ming Dynasty city wall to transform the historic site into a modern cultural communication platform.
