Nankai Electric Railway to relocate Hamadera Koen Station ticket gate

Nankai Electric Railway has announced that the east side ticket gate at Hamadera Koen Station will be relocated to within a passage in the underground level, effective from the first train on October 2.

This change is part of the progress of the Nankai Main Line continuous grade separation project. As part of the relocation, the position of the free passage entrance will also change. Currently, the east side ticket gate is located on the ground level; passengers passing through it must descend to the B1 level via stairs to reach the platform.

Following the change, the east side ticket gate will be moved to the B1 level, and the dedicated stairs for the non-ticketed free passage will be closed. Passengers using the east side to board trains will descend to the basement before passing through the ticket gate. Additionally, elevator installation work is currently underway, with a service start date to be announced once finalized.
