Nankatsu SC and Eries Toyoshima FC reach All Japan Senior Football Championship final

The 62nd All Japan Senior Football Championship has reached its final stage, with both finalists, Nankatsu SC and Eries Toyoshima FC, set to compete for their first title. Both clubs have also secured berths in the National Regional Football Champions League, which serves as a pathway to the Japan Football League (JFL).

In the semifinals held in Miyazaki Prefecture, Eries Toyoshima FC defeated Gakunan F Mosperio 1-0, with the winning goal scored by 23-year-old forward Jiao Kojima. In a more dramatic contest, Nankatsu SC overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat FC BASARA HYOGO 3-2. Nankatsu SC's comeback was led by striker Motoki Omae, who scored twice, followed by a late winning goal from midfielder Tatsuya Sasaki.

The final is scheduled to take place on October 28 at the Ichigo Miyazaki Shintomi Soccer Field. Because both finalists have already qualified for the Regional Champions League, the tournament outcome will determine the national champion among these top amateur sides.
