Nano S05 electric mini-car debuts in Vietnam

The Nano S05, a two-seater electric mini-car, has appeared for testing at the TMT factory in Hung Yen, Vietnam. The vehicle features a simple interior with a 5-inch speedometer, USB charging ports, and physical climate control buttons.

Two versions of the Nano S05 are expected: one with a fixed battery providing a 120 km range, and another with two removable batteries offering a 150 km range. The vehicle uses the CCS2 charging standard. With a starting price of 148 million VND, it is positioned as one of the most affordable automobiles in the Vietnamese market, priced lower than the Honda SH 350i scooter and the VinFast VF 2.

The official launch of the Nano S05 is projected for late 2026.
